I am Deesa Stephens and this is my fifteenth year teaching. I am married to my wonderful husband Nic and we have three beautiful children, Harper, Parker, and Titus. For the first five years of my teaching career, I taught first grade, kindergarten, and sixth grade at Walter Wellborn Elementary School. The next nine years, I was a Gifted Specialist for Calhoun County Schools. This is my tenth year of teaching, and I will be an Instructional Partner in the Calhoun County School System, and I LOVE what I do. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University, where I have received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Gifted Specialist Certification from Samford University. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University. I have had many years experience working with children of all ages. I am excited about this upcoming year, and I can not wait to get to know the teachers, students, and staff that I will be working with. It is going to be an awesome year!!
